Miete können sie ja nicht sparen, Wareneinkauf ist auch schlecht sonst sinkt die Qualität, bleiben Personalkosten...

Arduino Ethernet powered Lucky Cat 2.0

Rebuilt my lucky cat: whenever a page of my website is loaded, the cat will be waving its arm. There's a light sensor so when its dark, the cats RGB-LED is changing the color instead of waving the arm. Changing the color of the LED is also possible with one of the buttons on the cats ears. The other one is the reset button. Used an arduino ethernet, a servo, two buttons, an RGB LED and two small yellow LEDs. The seven segment display is one that I harvested from an old stereo. It's driven by the arduino and two shift registers. unfortunately I've soldered that one together for an older project, so that it doesn't fit into the cat too. It shows the number of pageviews of the website.

Begur - nice & catalonian

As I have to drive home tomorrow, I had a lazy day. Just took the bike for a very short safari :). And one really needs strong legs to go these roads up and down - to hard for me and my old bike!
And what should I say: they do have a bar named Frankfurt here

Roadtrip to Begur

Left Tarragona today. As it wasn't hot it was a good idea to make a roadtrip. Drove all the way up to Begur mostly on the road near the seaside. Best part was between Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu! Had a lot of fun 'running up that hill' 
Got a new neighbour: Cat!
She must be a girl: so cute ... and...

Tarragona: love it now

The first things I saw here was the harbour - because I like harbours. And I thought 'what an ugly town' as I strolled from the harbour to the main street. Then I found the old town, found creative street art, found happy Spanish people and some kind of party was going on, beer just 1€. What should I say? Love it!
P.s. And of course: there's a bar named Frankfurt here

Supermarket, Montserrat, Tarragona

After having seen the tapas bike yesterday I left Barcelona.  Made an adverture trip into a supermarket (they really had tomato marmelade there) and found a great road up to Monserrat. Hope this is like the "make everything okay button" in the internet (I didn't touch the Madonna but I think that's okay for her too). Finally I found a new stay at the same sea: Tarragona
